When You Get To See The Fruits of Your Labor
I was startled one day when I heard a grown man call out, "Hi Ms. Jackie!" When I looked over, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Jayden, that sweet little two year old that was so scared and nervous to be in a strange lady's house while his mom went to work. That's how I still really looked at him. But he all but that 2 year old little boy. I must say that I am so proud of the man that he has become. He is successful and still so handsome and friendly.
Throughout San Pedro, I am previledged to see the little ones who were students at Smith Family Day Care, doing so well in school and working in our community. I am so happy to see them thriving as young adults or even older adults, Lol.
But it's also so crazy when they grow up and bring their children to your daycare. How about that! Now that's the best referral. It's the benefit of doing child care for over 40 years!
